The successful candidate will perform a variety of duties to process requests for emergency and non-emergency assistance and dispatch appropriate service unit(s) in a timely manner. May serve as Police Department receptionist and perform related clerical assignments.
Must be able to work 12 hour shifts on a modified pitman schedule
Requires high school diploma or equivalent. Must possess the ability to multi-task and have file based organizational skills. Must be able to communicate effectively under pressure and handle emergency situations with skills that depict both urgency and calmness. Must display a working knowledge and proficiency in computers and computer based software. Certified in 9-1-1 Basic Telecommunicator.
