The Township of East Brunswick is accepting applications for the position of Manager of Engineering Services.  The successful candidate will work under the general supervision of the Director of Planning and Engineering and will supervise Engineering staff in the planning, design and oversight of improvements to Township infrastructure.  Will supervise inspections for private development improvements to insure compliance with Planning and Zoning Board approvals and Township ordinances.  Assists in preparations of resolutions/ordinances.  Will oversee all road openings and right of way permits.  Assists in preparation and management of Capitol Improvement Program. 

Knowledge:   Must have a good working knowledge and abilities in all aspects of Civil Engineering, including traffic, storm drainage, road design, water and sewer systems, soils and DEP permitting.  Requires thorough knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft office.  Must be able to communicate effectively orally and in writing.

Licenses:  Must be a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of New Jersey.  Must have valid NJ Driver's license.

Work Experience:  Requires a minimum of (6) six years of experience in Civil Engineering as a NJ Professional Engineer, preferably at the local government level.
