The Township of East Brunswick and the Interfaith Clergy Council are collecting school supplies to assist township kids in need with their preparation to return to school.
Specifically looking for colored pencils, pens, highlighters, washable markers, looseleaf paper, spiral notebooks, marble notebooks, and 1 inch binders. Gift cards/checks are also accepted and the Recreation Department will make purchases as needed with the cards/checks.
Gift cards/checks may be dropped off in the drop box outside the Recreation Department front door and other supplies can be place right inside the bus in the parking lot with the big sign next to it. The door to the bus is shut to keep the weather and wildlife out but you may open the door and place the donation inside.
Recreation and bus are located at 334 Dunhams Corner Road. Donations accepted up to August 20th so we may prepare the kits for the kids' return to school in September.
