The Municipal Alliance Committee is made up of volunteers from the community who are dedicated to the prevention of Alcohol and Drug Abuse in the community. The Alliance Program is a mechanism whereby educational and public awareness activities are implemented at the municipal level and with the aid of over $50,000 in State grant funds.
The East Brunswick Municipal Alliance seeks to create an environment that promotes wellness and is free of the misuse and abuse of alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs.
The mission of the East Brunswick Municipal Alliance is to promote the health and well-being of individuals in East Brunswick through the reduction of alcohol, tobacco, and other drug use. The Alliance will achieve this through an ongoing process of community involvement, collaborations, education, public awareness activities, sharing resources, and delivery of quality programs.
WHAT ARE OUR GOALS?
Our goal is to provide community based substance abuse education and public awareness activities for the residents of East Brunswick. To accomplish this goal the Alliance will seek to involve community leaders and private citizens who will support appropriate programming for our community.
