The major responsibility of the Park Ranger is to increase safety, provide information/assistance to the park users and help prevent non productive park usage. The objective of the Park Ranger is to protect our community's investments in our parks, monitor and direct use of parks and deter vandalism.
The Park Rangers will wear a department uniform and be riding in a park ranger vehicle. The Park Ranger does not take the place of the police, but will assist in the safety and security of parks.
