Pay by Bank ACH Direct Withdrawal
Set it and Forget it! You are able to pay your property tax and/or water & sewer utility bills using ACH Direct Withdrawal from your bank account FREE of charge. Complete the Authorization Agreement for ACH Direct Withdrawals form below or access the form by scanning the QR code below. Completed forms must be received no later than 15 days prior to the payment due date. Once you submit the form payments will be automatically deducted from your bank account on every subsequent due date.

Pay Taxes, Water and Sewer Utility Bills Online
You can make a tax, water/sewer payment by Electronic Check or by Debit / Credit card.
- If paying by Electronic Check the convenience fee is $1.95
- If paying by Debit or Credit Card the fee will be 2.95% of the total amount paid. Note this fee can be substantial.

If you choose to pay you tax or utility bill by mail, please allow sufficient time for delivery by the USPS. The mailing address is:

Payments Made by Check
If you pay by check, please make sure that:
- The written amount matches the numerical amount.
- The check is signed.
- The check is not post-dated.
Checks that are not written correctly, are not signed or are post-dated will be returned.
Final Meter Readings
If you are selling your home and require a final water/sewer bill, please email the following to Revenue@eastbrunswick.org at least 48 hours prior to closing:
- A clear picture of your water meter showing all digits; your water meter is located inside your home usually in a basement or utility closet.
- The property addesss.
- The date of the closing.
- The seller's name.
- The buyer's name and contact information (phone & email).
When sending your email, copy all parties who you would like to receive a copy of the final utility bill. The final bill will be calculated and sent via "Reply All" email. Please note that it may take up to 48 hours to calculate your final bill.
Winter Termination Program
If you are having trouble paying your residential water and sewer service bills this winter, the NJ Department of Community Affairs has a program to protect you from having these utilities turned off from November 15 through March 15. Please see flyer below for details. Email all self-certification forms to tax@eastbrunswick.org

Tax Payment Due Dates
Tax payments are due quarterly: February 1, May 1, August 1 and November 1. There is always a ten-day grace period. If the 10th falls on a weekend or holiday, the grace period extends to the next business day. Payments received after the end of the grace period will be charged interest back to the statutory due date. Postmarks are not accepted as date of receipt.
