The mission of Coffee with a Cop is to break down the barriers between police officers and the citizens they serve. Through this program, members of the Department host an informal and relaxed town hall style meeting where members of the community are given the opportunity to discuss any topics of importance to them. More importantly, there is no agenda and the conversations cover many topics, including burglary rates, traffic concerns, and personal interests.
This is an outstanding, unstructured forum where members of the community and members of the Department are given an opportunity to get to know each other on a more personal level, building stronger relationships.
