Autism Wallet Card
The East Brunswick Police Department promotes the use of Autism Wallet Cards through the The Disability Independence Group.

Blue Angel Program
The “Blue Angel “ program will look to encourage residents to download on-line applications to address personal needs regarding their household members related to developmental disabilities, seniors who suffer from dementia or Alzheimer’s disease, or seniors who live alone and may require frequent welfare checks (spare key locations).

Citizens Academy
The Department hosts an “academy” for civilians, as well, to introduce them to the law enforcement profession.

Coffee with a Cop
Through this program, members of the Department host an informal and relaxed town hall style meeting where members of the community are given the opportunity to discuss any topics of importance to them.

Community CrimeCam
Video surveillance continues to be one of the best methods for apprehending criminals and convicting suspects who are caught in the act of committing a crime.

The East Brunswick Police Department participates in a variety of College/University Student Internship Programs.

Junior Police Academy
The Junior Police Academy is designed to motivate young people to be outstanding citizens through law enforcement education and encourages our young citizens to be partners, in building a safer community; a cornerstone for community policing.

A Neighborhood Watch program is a group of people living in the same area who want to make their neighborhood safer by working together and with local law enforcement in order to reduce crime and to improve their quality of life.

This proactive program based out of the Office of Community Policing seeks to address the population of residents battling opiate addiction.

Police Chaplain
The East Brunswick Police Department Chaplain Program creates a partnership with various faith-based leaders of a community to respond and assist police and other law enforcement agencies providing an overall better quality to the citizens of East Brunswick.

Project Medicine Drop
The East Brunswick Police Department has installed a lockable metal “prescription drug drop boxes,” resembling a mailbox, in the hallway outside the police department’s front desk.

Safe Exchange Zone
The East Brunswick Police Department has established a "Safe Exchange Zone" for Craigslist sales and other online marketplaces.

The East Brunswick Police Department Community Policing Unit offers services to assist faith-based and community organizations with their efforts to prepare for all types of hazards, whether natural or man-made.

The Community Policing Office conducts regular, recorded public safety awareness announcements via EBTV through our “Street Smart” program.

If you live within the Township of East Brunswick, and would like to have vacation checks performed on your residence, please complete this on-line form and submit to the East Brunswick Police Department at least 72 hours prior to your planned absence.
