Coronavirus Updates - Park & Recreation Related
Effective March 12: All Fall/Winter Activities/Events/Programs are cancelled. Spring registration is suspended until further notice. Day Camp, Summer Programs, and Crystal Springs Registration is still open. All field and facility permits are cancelled. New permits will not be granted until further notice.
Effective March 16: Recreation & Parks Office is closed to public. We are staffing the facility with a skeleton crew and may be contacted at firstname.lastname@example.org
Effective March 18: All playing fields, courts, playsets, swings, slides, etc. and dog park are closed.
Effective March 23: Food collection for Aldersgate will occur at Recreation Office, 334 Dunhams Corner Road. An open box truck will be parked at our front door for donation drop-offs between 7am and 3pm, Monday - Friday. Please place your donation in the truck and we will deliver to Aldersgate as needed.
Effective May 15: Summer Day Camp is cancelled. Refunds will be issued for those that have already registered. Letter from Day Camp.
Effective May 19: Crystal Springs Family Water Park will NOT open for the season on May 23, 2020. The intention is to open at some time during the season and as a decision is made it will be broadcast on the website and Facebook pages.
Effective May 22: Tennis & Pickleball Courts, and Wall Ball Court will open to public. Social Distancing policies will be in effect. Updates to these policies may be found on COVID-19 Tennis/Pickleball Court Rules
Effective May 29: Sport activities have been cleared by the Governor to begin on June 22 with social distancing policies in place. Field opening date will be announced soon. Field permits remain cancelled through June 30. New field permits will not be issued until after July 1.
Effective June 1: 4th of July Activities are cancelled for 2020.
Effective June 12: Heavenly Farms Dog Park will reopen. Social Distancing policies remain in effect. Other park amenities remain closed
Effective June 19: Crystal Springs Family Water Park is set to reopen on July 3rd. Social Distancing and COVID-19 Mitigation Protocols are in place. July 4th Festivities have been rescheduled to October 4, 2020 to augment the EBDay activities.
Effective July 6: Playing fields and park facilities will open. Restrooms will remain closed.
