Welcome to East Brunswick

Proudly hailed as one of New Jersey’s 25 great towns (NJ Monthly Magazine, March ‘99), East Brunswick’s 22.5 square miles is home to a diverse  population of 47,512 per the 2010 census. A strategic location and a progressive outlook have fostered a dynamic growth of attractive and desirable residential developments, an excellent school system, shopping centers, state-of-the-art office complexes, and medical services.

For Residents Interested Puerto Rico's Recovery Efforts:

Mayor Cohen is working with Mayor Diaz from Perth Amboy to assist in Puerto Rico's recovery efforts, as nearly half of the residents there are without access to drinkable water and 95 per cent are without access to electricity.

If you wish to participate, please consider donating to one of the following two New Jersey based nonprofits:

**New Jersey for Puerto Rico: Hurricane Relief**- A partnership with the State of NJ, The American Red Cross, the Salvation Army, Boys & Girls Clubs of Puerto Rico and others to get the people of Puerto Rico the aid they need as soon as possible.

Checks are payable to:

New Jersey for Puerto Rico Hurricane Relief

PO Box 403

Keasbey, NJ 08832

**Celebrate Perth Amboy- San Sebastian Relief Fund**- While many areas of Puerto Rico are receiving the aide they so desperately need, the more rural areas are struggling with delivery. The San Sebastian Relief Fund is an offshoot of the Celebrate Perth Amboy local charity that is trying to move resources into assisting the recovery efforts of one of those more remote areas.

Checks are payable to:

CPA- San Sebastian Relief Fund

211 Front Street

Perth Amboy, NJ 08861

At this juncture, monetary donations are needed. Both charities are capacity for items, such as clothing, water, batteries, etc. and in need of the resources to transport said items to their destinations in the impacted areas. Please consider assisting our fellow Americans, just as we did in response to Hurricane Harvey's impact on Texas.
