Police Reports

All police reports must be obtained through the Police Records Bureau, located in the Police/Courts building of the municipal complex. Please bear in mind the following:

Records Bureau hours are Mon-Fri 8:00am to 5:00pm (excluding holidays).

Under normal circumstances, reports are ready within 48-72 hours. You may want to call ahead to see if your report is ready.
Report Fees:

MV Accident Report- $0.05 per page
Investigation Report- $0.05 per page
Misc. Service Report- $0.05 per page

Fingerprints:

Fingerprints are taken on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 3:00 to 4:00 pm. The East Brunswick Police Department performs fingerprinting for residents of the township only. Applicants should bring the fingerprint card provided to them by their employer or agency. The department does not complete New Jersey State fingerprint cards.
