Pedestrian Struch by Vehicle on Route 18:

Hwy 18/West Prospect St.
Police report that a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle on Route 18 northbound near the intersection of West Prospect Street on Tuesday, 12/9/08 at 9:41 PM. Based on the investigation at the time of this report, the pedestrian had jumped over the concrete divider and was struck by 1999 Ford Explorer and suffered serious, unspecified injuries. The driver of the vehicle has not been identified, as the investigation is ongoing. Any witnesses are asked to contact Patrolman Thomas Kienle of the East Brunswick Department of Public Safety’s Traffic Safety Section at 732-390-6969.
