Road Maintenance - James Bravo, Supervisor-- 732-390-6886
Responsible for street maintenance, storm drainage, leaf collection, emergency response, and snow and ice control.
Vehicle Maintenance - Raymond Petruska, Fleet Manager - 732-390-6886
Responsible for upkeep and repairs of all Township vehicles. This Division handles most repairs in-house.
Water Maintenance - Richard A Brand, Manager, Water Production & Maintenance - 732-390-6886
The Water Maintenance Division is responsible for maintaining 182 miles of water mains. This Division also handles emergency response on a 24 hour basis. The function of the Division is to insure the water distribution system is operational for delivery of water at adequate pressures and volumes during fire fighting, as well as normal domestic requirements. This Division also is mandated by the 1-800 call system, which requires underground utilities to be marked out prior to any excavation taking place.
Water Production - Richard A Brand, Manager, Water Production & Maintenance - 732-390-6886
The Water Production Division is responsible for providing safe drinking water to the community and assuring its quality meets the standards established by the State Department of Environmental Protection. This Division also monitors the New Jersey Call-One System for underground mark out requests for water facilities to prevent damage to its facilities which may interrupt service.
Recycling and Solid Waste - Joseph Butrica, Coordinator - 732-432-6011
This Division is responsible for compliance management of the recycling and solid waste collection programs. The Division monitors commercial generators, maintains contact with the County Office of Recycling, and contract management for collection of residents' recyclables and trash. The Recycling Program provides for drop off textiles, paint, brush and tires and administers programs for litter collection utilizing Community Service Workers and the Clean Communities Grant Program.
The Recycling Center is located at 357 Dunhams Corner Road and is open Monday through Saturday 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. for disposal of all recyclables, including aluminum, glass, plastic, aseptic packaging, corrugated/cardboard/books, junk mail/magazines, and newspaper. This facility also accepts tree/shrub debris. Paint collection days for Middlesex County residents are the first Saturday of each month. Metal items are collected by appointment only by calling 732-390-6984 to schedule or the resident may take metal to the Recycling Center.
Building Maintenance - Robert Grieco, Manager - 732-390-6889
The Building Maintenance Division supports all types of maintenance, minor construction, contract management, safety issues and custodial services for all municipally owned buildings.
