The East Brunswick Environmental Commission is responsible for the protection, development and use of the natural resources of the Township of East Brunswick. In doing so the Environmental Commission has established the “The East Brunswick Butterfly Park”and the Annual “Salamander and Other Small Amphibian and Reptile Protection Program” and the Environmental website (www.friendsebec.com). In conjunction with the ‘Friends of the East Brunswick Environmental Commission’, the East Brunswick Community Garden was created in 2009. The ‘Environmental Commission’ and the ‘Friends of the East Brunswick Environmental Commission’ have also sponsored an annual lecture series, ‘Big Bird Count Days’ and Commercial and Residential Solar Forums.
The Environmental Commission is comprised of seven (7) regular members and two (2) alternate members appointed by the Mayor, all volunteer East Brunswick residents. The current Membership of the East Brunswick Environmental Commission includes:

Meetings for 2011 are held in the Large Conference Room in the East Brunswick Municipal Building usually on the third Thursday of each month unless otherwise noted:
