The School Age Child Care (SACC) Program is responsible for providing recreation, enriching and affordable after school child care in cooperation with the Board of Education. SACC is a carefully planned recreational program in a supervised environment that allows children to play, make decisions, do homework, develop leadership skills, as well as participate in various activities according to their interests. Children receive a snack and choice of beverage, daily.

The program is located in all eight elementary schools and is available to children enrolled in Kindergarten through fifth grade. (Pleae note: Kindergartners must be enrolled in the P.M. session.) For the 2007-2008 school year, the monthly fee for a five-day program is $170 per month, a four-day program is $150 per month, and a three day program is $135 per month. (Discounts are available for a second and third child in a family.) A yearly registration fee of $30 is required upon registration. Registration begins in March for the following school year, and is accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis. (Please note:  Registration/tuition received after July 16, 2007 will be charged a $20 late fee if there is availablity in your child(ren)'s school SACC Program.   Please note: This does not apply to new residents of East Brunswick.)

The seven member Advisory Board appointed by the Mayor, with the advice and consent of the Township Council is responsible for recommending policy for the School Age Child Care (SACC) Program.
